The server manager is the central point for administration of your OpenSim servers. In this definition a ‘server’ is a single OpenSim instance. A single piece of hardware may have multiple instances of OpenSim which will show in this module as different ‘Servers’. To identify each server they must have a unique DNS name even though the DNS name may all point to a single piece of hardware. ‘Servers’ may support any number of regions but care should be taken with large numbers of regions per server as an issue on a single region may effect all other regions on a server it shares.
