The PXE-RCI Core is a module often overlooked as it appears on none of the menus or has any obviously visable effects. The Core is the very heart of the system and is running most of the options seen in the 'RCI Automatic Function' article below.

The Core module also contains many of the security features required by the other modules (known as the Security Module) this includes

 - Avatar Sign Up (new users)
 - Website Access (when the Joomla intergration option is turn on)
 - Paypal Transaction verification (Paypal IPN)
 - RCI Module access (controlling which admin function can be used)

While some of the PXE-RCI modules will operate without the Core module it is considered a requirement for any PXE-RCI installation as it forms the backbone of the security and provides protection against unauthorised access to the modules.
