All operational data as well as specific region configuration data (normally reserved for the XML and INI files) is held on our double servered MySQL database at the very heart of the PXE-Core. This data is read dynamically by our region servers to ensure that they always hold the most upto date configuration information for your products.

PXE-Core and RCI systems are on daily backup cycle to an offsite location. These backup files are broken down into individual server information and then archived to NEVER be over written.

For enhanced security, resilience & region server performance, data is NOT held directly by the region servers but always in the PXE-Core. This means along with the added protection of the our offsite backups, all our regions server have the additional advantage of not needing resources to run mySQL to hold there data.

Crash Detection and AutoRestart. These extensions to the PXE-RCI system allow the autonomous monitoring of all our servers with the aim to detect a server crash and issue the restart command so no region server spends more the 6 minutes (the monitoring and restart cycle) offline before it is automatically restarted by the RCI. |
